I met Cindy when my son Jason enrolled into ninth grade at Chaminade College Preparatory School. As a father of an international student, we had neither experience or any concept regarding my son’s future, specifically the college application process. Cindy indoctrinated my son to prepare himself for American education and guided him through the application process, step by step.
We were lucky to find Cindy as my son’s counselor. In the past four years, she frequently reached out to my son and gave him priceless advice at every stage of his development. My son trusted Cindy and was willing to share difficulties with her, followed her suggestions and improved himself in several areas. After a period of counseling, my son grew out of immaturity and expressed thoughtful ideas for his future. My son took progressive steps and was ultimately accepted by his dream college.
After four years of observation, I am confident that Cindy is a professional individual counselor. More importantly, she knows students’ unique traits and loves those students. Meanwhile, students love her.

We met with Cindy summer before Michael ‘s junior year and made a plan for applying to colleges; we worked out strategies for ACT testing, drawing up college list, researching, and visit preparation. Her guidance and encouragement were centered around the best all around fit for Michael. Her college suggestion for Michael was not even on our radar.
